Udelhoven Oilfield System Services, an equal opportunity employer, has a requirement for an experienced Electrical/Instrumentation Construction Estimator. Duties will consist of, performing quantitative take-offs, preparing detailed estimates, providing schedule of values, contract evaluation, material requisitioning, assembling technical submittals, scheduling, change order development, close out documentation and construction site visits.

 

Candidates should have a background of electrical engineering and/or journeyman electrician with a minimum of 10 years of active project estimating experience, 5 years, of which, in the petrochemical industry.

 

Individual must posses good people skills and be capable of interfacing with clientele on an administrative as well as technical level.

Licensed journeyman lineman with emphasis on HV substation maintenance and outside line work.

Work is primarily 69KV transmission and 13.8KV distribution. CDL required.  Minimum of 5 years experience.  2week On/ 2week Off schedule, north slope of Alaska. 

Willing to work overtime hours.  Must be self starter and motivated. Must be willing to work with other crafts. 

Work will be in a heavy industrial environment under Arctic conditions with a variety of man lifts and equipment.

         Quality Assurance / Control Inspectors Electrical, Mechanical and Civil for Alaska Projects. 

 

         Mechanical QA position in Anchorage with possible future assignment to North Slope.

 

         Oil/Gas inspection experience a must, AWS CWI preferred. API 570, 653 a plus.

Location

 

The position will be based in Anchorage with the expectation that the successful candidate be able to travel to the North Slope periodically.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

· Perform analysis of field genrated NDE data to determine trends, conditions, and equipment life

· Perform analysis of intelligent pig (ILI) data for trending, condition assessment and equipment life.

· Develop inspection program strategy for the numerous corrosion and mechanical integrity programs on the North Slope

· Provide timely reports of program status

· Prepare and coordinate inspection program budget

· Identify and quantify risks and areas for program improvement

· Develop and track key performance indicators to monitor technical performance of the integrity program

· Prepare reports as required and present findings to CIC clients as required

· Set inspection program schedule in coordination with North Slope CIC team, NDE alliance contractor, and Operations

· Provide management summaries of inspection surveys, findings, recommendations

· Develop, update procedures and practices for integrity assessment programs

· Work with team members to develop an integrated approach to mechanical integrity assessment, corrosion control, and piping rehabilitation requirements

· Establish criteria and coordinate selection of inspection locations

· Prepare and present quarterly and year end summary presentations to Management

 

This position is responsible for the development of inspection programs and the analysis of data generated by the programs for the purpose of determining risk, reliability and life of process piping, facilities equipment, and cross-country pipelines. This position will work within a multi-discipline team setting that develops strategies and tactical plans, assesses mechanical integrity of equipment, measures the effectiveness of the corrosion management program and provides feedback to operations, new development teams, regulatory agencies and networks throughout the company.
